Miryo Studios Miss Cherries & Cigs Ashtray
This month, I traveled to New York for the Byline launch party… and missed Cat Marnell’s appearance by approximately 8 minutes. Regardless, during my stay I went to Lolo — an adorable home good and smokeware boutique in Brooklyn I’ve long admired from afar on Instagram. While there, I noticed an incredible hand-crafted ashtray from Miryo Studios: Miss Cherries & Cigs.
Representing two cloying summer cravings, only one of which I let myself indulge in (a couple of puffs off a cool mint elf bar is a different story), this is the perfect addition to your balcony for a late-night guilty pleasure receptacle. Though this isn’t the first cigarette ashtray I’ve seen, it is by far the cutest.
The Miss Cherries & Cigs Ashtray is available for $150.
Weed’d CD001 Sky Blue Ceramic Bong
Who says bongs have to be vertical? Weed’d is an aesthetically-focused, truly chic smokeware brand from Milan serving up all types of inventive bong shapes — and their latest drop is no exception. Combining the smoothness of a bong with the functionality of a steamroller, this is a truly bespoke take on a water pipe that would make a gorgeous addition to any design lover’s apartment.
That being said, I don’t love the overly technical “CD001” branding. I get it's an aesthetic choice, one that Laundry Day also makes (now that I’m looking at it, their sites are almost identical), but it’s not for me.
The Sky Blue Ceramic Bong is available for pre-order for €170,00 ($184.60 US dollars).
Edie Parker Flower Mini Tabletop Grinder
When a friend who’s been living in a very non-weed-friendly country for the past few years asked me which grinder to get upon returning to America, I recommended the Edie Parker Flower Mini Tabletop Grinder before even trying it myself. A good size, truly sharp teeth, and — most importantly — cute, it seemed like a fairly foolproof, and surprisingly cheap, choice.
When I saw her in Brooklyn this month, she had gotten one for me as well. To be honest, I’m still not using it as my main grinder, probably due to its size, so it might be time for me to invest in the full-sized version. I do love the pointy teeth of the mini though, which are less prone to gunking up than its flat-topped counterparts, but I wish there were a few more holes on the bottom of the first level to allow the bud to fall through more smoothly. The kief scooper on the bottom is another nice touch — not to shit-talk the classic shovel.
The Edie Parker Flower Mini Tabletop Grinder is available for $30.
Weeday Pipe
Weeday is a brand-new accessories brand that started off this month with two staples: a pipe and a bong.
They’re following suit in both the modular bong and the art deco silicone trend, but I’m most interested in their pipe: a much prettier pick than most silicone offerings with a truly easy-to-clean fully removable glass bowl. I love that the built-in poker is starting to become an industry standard, and its silicone lid makes it a great choice for travel, too.
The Weeday Pipe is available for $45.
Elevate Jane Goldfish Bowl Piece by SugarMattys
Elevate Jane rarely misses when it comes to adorable bowl pieces. From the pink tulip double-bowl to the udder-forward cow, they’re always a great destination for a novelty, yet functional, bong accessory — something I wish we saw more of in the market.
This piece by SugarMattys is a nod to the snack that smiles back while giving you a better grip on your hit.
The Goldfish Bowl is available for $59.
